I am generally not a huge fan of dealership service departments, but Campus Ford is one is the exceptions. I pulled in without an appointment last week because I was two hours from home when every bell, light, and gauge in my F350 started going haywire. Planned a 2 hour trip to Campus Ford to see a pre-owned Hyundai. Although they were tentatively expecting me in the afternoon I failed to call/text them concerning my arrival time and as a result when I got there I put my salesperson contact, Tim Taylor, in a tough spot with no time to prepare. Mickey Painter sold us a new 2017 Ford Escape in November, 2017. Beginning in April, 2019 five engine light trips sent me to Service with Doug Kershner, Service Manager, who was wonderful each time, Finally in June, Mickey Painter, our original sales rep worked with us and with Ford and we got a brand new 2019 Escape. Problem with our 17 still not resolved but we are driving a safe new car. The sales staff plays no games in the sales process. Info is given up front and options are discussed about vehicles on the lot and that is did not see what was wanted could get that vehicle of one that was very close. All discounts were discussed and their was no gamesmanship on the pricing. This has been the case on my 3 purchases from them. A very good to great buying experience that took less than one hour.
